You already have the crop year with all the parcels. This is the same parcel database used in our CropPLAN, CropMAP and LogMaster services. If you have plots without a plotted area, these plots will not perform any function in CropMAP.<\/p>\n

You can add new plots in CropMAP, but if you want to edit existing plots, you do so in CropPLAN. Changes in CropMAP will take effect as soon as you reload the page.[\/vc_text_element][\/vc_custom_tab][vc_custom_tab title=”Uploading precision farming files” tab_id=”file-upload”][vc_text_element disable_margin=”yes” css_animation=””]You can bring all your field data into CropMAP under the Data tab. The files are transferred to the CropMAP file list and automatically interpreted into data layers. These data layers are mapped by the system to the areas of your plots so that you can easily find the right files for each plot.<\/p>\n

History has produced a multitude of file formats that can be compressed and named in many different ways. Our advice is that the data should be taken directly from the machine terminal and compressed into a zip file. If you have problems uploading files, please contact the FarmEasy team – we will help you.<\/p>\n

As a CropMAP user, you can share your files and data layers with other CropMAP users. Perhaps you have already received a shared map from someone else? If so, it’s easy to get the data. Click on the link in the email you received, log in (if you are not already logged in) and select Save geodata. It couldn’t be easier.<\/p>\n

CropSAT NDVI satellite imagery is already available on CropMAP.[\/vc_text_element][\/vc_custom_tab][vc_custom_tab title=”Field analysis” tab_id=”Field-analysis”][vc_text_element disable_margin=”yes” css_animation=””]In the “Map” section, you can select one or more parcels and the system will show you the available data layers for this parcel. If you want to compare the data layers with each other, you can do so under the \u2018Analysis\u2019 tab. Start by selecting one or more parcels. Choose whether you want to compare two or four windows. You can then select a data layer in each window with the desired property, for example, in one window for the soil map pH and in the other window for the yield map. Get insights into what might make certain parts of the field more fertile than others, and how you can make better use of your resources in the long term by growing vegetation in the field.[\/vc_text_element][\/vc_custom_tab][vc_custom_tab title=”How to create a Variable Rate Map” tab_id=”Howto-VRM”][vc_text_element disable_margin=”yes” css_animation=””]Insights into changes in the field can help you implement smarter operations. One approach is to vary the amount of input by using variable rate maps for the tractor screen that controls the implement. CropMAP’s \u2018Assignment File\u2019 tab helps to apply the knowledge you know about how to optimise operations to each specific part of the field with just a few clicks.<\/p>\n

  1. Click on the “Recipes” section on the left hand side.<\/li>\n
  2. Select the field for which you want to create a variable rate fertiliser map (the field must have the data needed to create the recipes).<\/li>\n
  3. Select the fertilisation strategy.<\/li>\n
  4. Enter the necessary data.<\/li>\n
  5. Download the fertilisation files and upload them to your machine!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once you have saved the assignment files created in CropMAP, you can find them as easily as any other data repository. Select a plot in the Field Data area and the Assignment button will provide a list of all the assignment files that affect the plot.[\/vc_text_element][\/vc_custom_tab][vc_custom_tab title=”Displayed data” tab_id=”Displayed-data”][vc_text_element disable_margin=”yes” css_animation=””]CropMAP can receive and visualise this data:<\/p>\n

    2. Yield data (yield, moisture, rate)<\/li>\n
    3. Field boundary data<\/li>\n
    4. Sensor data<\/li>\n
    5. Prescription files.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      These data can be added in the “Data” section by clicking on the “Upload files” button.
